Productive Weekending

Shew!  I can't believe it's Monday again!  And it's crunch time at the office!  Only 2 weeks left until taxes (that were extended from April) are due, and you can feel it in the air.  That being said, I was super productive this weekend.  As compared to last weekend when we managed to kill 10 hours of Longmire in two days.

The day that the Apple Watch Series 2 went on presale, I had mine on order.  The September 30 delivery date was bumped up, and one day during work last week, Scott swung by my office to bring it to me!  I LOVE it- there will be a full review coming soon.

Because I got the new watch, I eBayed my "old" Garmin VivoActive HR.  I bought this back in May or so when it was released, mainly because I could track my routes while hiking in Colorado.  Well, the new Apple Watch has a GPS in it, so I didn't really need the Garmin anymore.  Plus, it was too big and bulky for my scrawny wrist.  I got it packaged up and ready to mail out today.  I'm now on a mission to eBay more stuff.  I've had some success on eBay auctions and provided some tips and tricks last year.

I received Mindy Kaling's new book, Why Not Me? in the mail on Saturday to review.  It was released September 15th, so hop on over to Amazon (Affiliate) and pick it up!  I never watched The Mindy Project, or read her first book, so I'm starting this one with pretty much no perspective on Mindy Kaling.  I'm already a chapter in and LOVE it.

I picked up that fun little spiral notebook at the Target dollar spot.  It gets me every time.  I've been using it to write ideas for blog posts and listing everything that I should do for each post.  I'm hoping the checklist format will keep my focused!

I spent a good amount of both days writing posts, editing pictures, and scheduling social media out for the next couple weeks.  I also planned ahead and already scheduled Tweets for current posts, many months in the future.  Hoping this will bring some more constant traffic to older posts!

Last, Scott watched a video on YouTube on how to do this etching on stainless steal.  I was a little scared when he started, because he was sitting here with a battery, alligator clips, and his Yeti cup.  But, the final product came out super good and I'm excited to see what else we can etch, then make a post about it!

We wound down Sunday night with Selfie.  I'm trying to figure out how this didn't get renewed for another season, because it had both Scott and I laughing super hard.

That's it for this weekend.  Happy Monday ya'll!
