A Very Long Weekending

It's been such a crazy week!  Which is crazy in itself, since I've been on vacation.  I had no intention of taking last week off from the blog, but it just happened.  We had a lot going on, and it's not over yet.  In all reality I don't really feel as if I've had much of a vacation at all!

The easiest way to sum up my time of is pictures.  Which are so much more fun sometimes than words!

Rottweilers in a 2013 Ford Focus
The vacation started off the last Friday of June, with these 3 and me headed down to south Florida.  I had some mighty gorgeous co-pilots, as they would take turns from riding up front to snoozing in the back.

Signs around the Aerodrome area of Vero Beach
Saturday was a disappointing day house hunting in Orlando.  So Sunday we explored.  By explore, I mean Scott took me to his old neighborhood in Vero Beach - the Aerodrome - where there is a community landing strip.

Atlantic Ocean from Orchid Island, Vero Beach
We managed to sneak a walk or two on the beach in the evenings

Not sure I'll ever tire of these views
Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary, Vero Beach
I must've taken 100 pictures of this flag while were at Veteran's Memorial Island Sanctuary one evening.

Hot Dogs and The Game of Life
After a week of craziness (which I know I haven't even touched on) we celebrated a quiet 4th of July at our house.  With hot dogs, cole slaw, and board game shenanigans.

I cannot tell ya'll how much I'm dreading going back to work tomorrow. The good part is that our system was down all of last week, which means that I shouldn't have too much to actually catch up on tomorrow. The bad part is that I'm pretty well exhausted from my week vacation, and kind of need another to recover!!

So what'd I miss?!?

Those hot dogs look so good. I so do not want to be at work right now. I went and looked at a house Friday. It was a big no. It had no attic or basement, had no washer or dyer room or hookups, had no dishwasher or place for a dishwasher to be put in. So besides the small kitchen, it just had a bathroom, 3 bedrooms, and a living room and a linen closet. No place to even put anything basically. I hate house hunting.

  2. House hunting is fun when you're not on a time crunch and there are so many unknowns! Unfortunately that's not the case currently

I actually can't believe how low those clouds were!! I hope this week is less stressful than last week! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  4. Awe, your co-pilots are adorable!!!! That hot dog looks so good!!!! I didn't get to have any hot dogs this weekend and it makes me sad. I love all your ocean pictures. I am missing the beach so hard. I hope you have a great week!

  6. the clouds were so fun to see! I'm not holding my breath on the stress level until about the end of August lol!

  7. Duuuude Oscar Meyer selects or something. These are the MOST flavorful hot dogs I've ever had. They were delicious! My copilots are adorable but they missed their big comfy jeep to ride in!

  8. Unfortunately finding one is only part of the battle lol! The other part is getting ours sold!!

  9. Looks like a great weekend. How pretty is that picture of the flag?!

I love comments! Let me know what you think!
