House-Showing | Weekending

The weekends seem to be getting shorter and shorter!  It's been a busy few days!

Maybe ya'll noticed I wasn't around on Friday?  Maybe not.  I was recovering from being at work for one hour on Thursday.  I got a text from our Realtor saying that someone would like to come see the house at noon.  This was at 10:50am.  After I had just gotten there from other errands in the morning that caused me to be late.  After I drove an hour to get there.  So I packed up the work laptop and headed back out.  Having pushed the viewing back til 1, I scrambled to get home and get the house presentable.  Because.  Dog hair EVERYWHERE.  It worked out though.  I was done with 7 minutes to spare.  And, because I could work from home, I put in a full day of work.  And got more done thanks to no phone ringing.

Anyway, the weekend.  Scott got back into town on Friday, and season 8 of Entourage was waiting for him.  We binge watched all of the episodes Friday night.  Now we're at a loss of what to watch (probably nothing streaming, til we move!) and all excited for the movie to come out June 2.

Saturday we got up fairly early, and while Scott rewatched two of the episodes he fell asleep during the night before, I started cleaning up the kitchen.  Then we cleaned. And cleaned. And cleaned.  For a house showing at 1:30 or so.  The house now looks fantastic, but I twitch every time I hear a dog drinking water.  Because I know they're going to spit it on my nice clean floors.  Here's hoping now that the full clean is done, I can just maintain.

Sunday was a quiet day, with Scott working outside, and me blogging.  We did a quick grocery shop so I can survive without him for a week.  Not going to lie, Fun Nuggets were included in my purchases!  While we were running around Target, I found this book, and added it to a long list of to purchase/ read*!

Gary and I were saying that we need to re-watch all the seasons so we can be all in for the movie! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  2. We had never seen the 8th season- I'm not sure why! I think that the dvd came out while we were trying to move to Orlando (the first time). The earlier seasons are my favorite though.

  3. Entourage: is still on my list, I don't think it's available in German Netflix, so it will have to keep waiting. and at least you have the option of working from home!

  4. I always find that I can get the most cleaning done when under pressure like that!!! And I too don't know what to do with myself when we catch up/finish a show binge. How does like go on? My husband got depressed last night that we are almost caught up with Chicago PD. I was like, it's ok...we will find something else. He was like will we? WILL WE???? Hope you have a great weekend!

  5. Yeah unfortunately that won't let me do it on a daily basis! They may have to start though if they'd like these training videos done! :)

  6. Seriously, Thursday I had approximately 45 minutes to get the house into presentable condition. I was done with time to spare!! I recommend Blue Bloods- the first few seasons are on Netflix! We started in on Two and a Half Men since I've got the first 6 seasons on DVD I don't think that it's going to be as fun to binge watch though!
