Google Knows Everything

Happy Friday ya'll!  Here's a little look into my latest [random!] Google explorations!

Branson Famous:  Have ya'll seen this show?  It's on TruTV (same channel as Impractical Jokers- see below) and it's about the best train wreck of reality TV that I've seen in a long time.  It follows the Mabe family, who own the Baldknobbers Dinner Theatre in Branson, Missouri.  So far my favorite part was when Megan proclaims that she and her boyfriend, Brandon, are the "Brangelina  of Branson."  Yes!
Via TruTV- "Megan and Brandon fell in love performing duets on stage, and both divorced their respective spouses so they could be together off-stage as well. They are the couple everyone in town loves to talk about, and gossip about."

Impractical Jokers: This has quickly become one of our favorite shows. These are four guys that have known each other since high school, and pretty much do whatever they can to embarrass the crap out of each other.  I found that before they were the Impractical Jokers, they were (and still are- but lesser known) The Tenderloins.  They tour the country (coming to Boston and Nashville soon) and have a couple podcasts on iTunes.  I'm listening to The Tenderloins podcast currently, which only has 13 episodes, and was recorded back in 2013.  Frigging hilarious and I can't wait to start their video podcast- Impractical Jokers After Party.
{Via TruTV} Joe (last on the right) really seems to have no shame.  I love it.

"Lossless compression like"- I use to compress all of my pictures, once I figured out that the blog wasn't loading as fast as it could be.  It's owned by Yahoo! and all of a sudden this week, the page won't load.  I'm on a hunt now for picture compressors- all of the other that I've found online, you can select how much you want them compressed.  I just want the program to compress it as much as it can and still look decent!  This weekend, I may try some of the desktop programs and see how they go.  Or mindlessly go to and see if it's working...

"Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich"-  Thanks to Nadine for mentioning this series.  There are currently 21 books in it, which is great for someone who loves series (I get attached to the characters).  I haven't gotten to start the books yet, since I have spy novels to finish and books through a couple of publishing companies coming to me.  Eventually I will be purchasing- I was able to read the first chapter of the first book here, and am looking forward to them!

"Fractionated Coconut Oil"- I got some coconut oil along with Argan oil to review (maybe next week?).  I've used coconut oil to cook with, but felt iffy ingesting something that is labeled/marketed as a beauty product.  Though, I was already confused before that when trying to determine to get fractionated or unfractionated to cook with.  After researching via Google/ WiseGeek, I'm excited to try both on my skin and hair.

I LOVE Impractical Jokers! I din't realize they had podcasts; definitely going to check out their earlier stuff. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Yay for Stephanie Plum series!!! I really hope you enjoy it as much as I have!!! I am sad that I am going to be done with it and I hope she continues to write more of them!

I use coconut oil to make lip scrub. You basically just mix some coconut oil and sugar together and bam! Lip scrub :) Have a great weekend!!!

  5. We binge listened to them this weekend while in the vehicle! They're hilarious, and not at all censored. Also, it was pretty fun going back and watching some of the episodes of Impractical Jokers after hearing about them in the podcast!

  6. I'm excited to start them, but have SOOOO many books to read right now! It's a good problem to have, though. :) I've been using the coconut oil on my skin in the place of lotion- in the morning and night. I can definitely see an improvement in tone and dryness. I'll have to try the lip scrub!

  7. I'm like you - I love book series because I get so attached to the characters. It makes it harder when the book series finally ends, but it's just so much better!! Hope you had an amazing weekend! Thanks for linking up again at H54F!!

  8. That's exactly my problem! I'm like that with TV shows too- I'm still not over Friends being over!

I love comments! Let me know what you think!
