Friday Googles

It's been an interesting week Google-wise for me!

One ||  Chad Michael Murry-  E! popped up on my newsfeed that he's having a kid.  My first thought was "when did he get married?"  Then I saw another post shortly before that said he'd gotten married.  Anyway, it prompted a Google, because I'm curious.  I was also trying to decide if I should start watching One Tree Hill on Netflix.  I have never watched it.  Spoiler-  I got 15 minutes into the first episode and switched to Blue Bloods.  Which brings me to...

Two || Donnie Wahlberg- Donnie Loves Jenny on A&E is one of my favorite new shows already.  So is Wahlburgers.  I love how Donnie terrorizes Paul, and how Paul takes it in stride.  Anyway, I was a small child when NKOTB were popular, so I wanted to see what he looked like then.  Wow.

Three ||  Boyz II Men - I caught them on an episode of Fresh Prince of Bel Air  the other day and remembered playing their tape (Boyz II Men II) over and over and over.  So I had to see what they were up to now.  Not much, FYI.  But, their a Capella version of "Yesterday" is as good now as it was when I was 10.  Also, "I'll Make Love to You" was clearly inappropriate for my pre-teen ears.

Four || "Bull nuts in a song"-  I was listening to Sirius XM the other day on my way home from work and this song came on the Highway that I didn't much care for.  But then my profane little ears (probably from all the Boyz II Men at such a young age) perked at this little nugget of lyric heaven- "And a set of bull nuts hanging off a ball hitch." I laughed and naturally had to Google to find the name of the song- "Washed in the Mud" by Colt Ford.  Also, this is what is wrong with country music today.  I can imagine the only time George Strait uses the term "bull nuts" is when he's on his ranch in Texas, where he probably has to deal with... them....

Five || "Scandinavian crisp crackers" -  I heard about these on the Big D and Bubba show back around Thanksgiving.  Dr. Oz was on their show and was talking about how these crackers make you feel full.  Basically, you eat one with a glass of water 15-30 minutes before your meal, and you'll wind up being able to eat, but not having 2nd and 3rd helpings.  I'd forgotten about it until I went back through my phone and saw that I made a note to myself to Google them. Surprise- you can buy them on Amazon!

Happy Friday ya'll!  I know you're looking for that Colt Ford song now!!

  8. I have a NKOTB tshirt that was an adult size and huge on my when I was in elementary school when they were popular. I used to sleep in it and I danced to Step by Step with my little cheerleading group. It was just the best! haha!

Also, I love B2M!!! I'll Make Love to You might have been inappropriate but still awesome! Have a great weekend!
