#NaBloPoMo: Professional Bloggism

How do you get to be a professional blogger?  I really don't know.  I know that I'm not one.  By definition, to be a professional -anything- one must be paid for that …something…?  I don't think you could consider the 6 cents I've made off Google Adsense as making me a pro.

Personally, I would say anyone that makes their career blogging, is a professional blogger.  That would entail some financial payment, but not necessarily a one-size-fits-all amount.  Bloggers could have sponsors or get sent products for review.  The bloggers, like Miss Mustard Seed, have made a whole product line based off their blog.

In the back of my mind, I know these opportunities are there for bloggers.  I think that would all be neat and hope for it for my blog someday (hopefully soon!)- I think there are a lot of different doors blogging could open for me.  However, right now I'm content with growing my blog, finding my voice,  and at the end of the day, having record of my life as it happens.

That last one is going to be super cool for our future kids and grand kids.  If the inter webs are still around by then.

I really hope to be a professional blogger one day, but I also know that it might not happen. By the way, I nominated you for the Liebster Award.

  2. Aw thanks! I'm definitely doing this, it just may be a couple weeks! :)

I love comments! Let me know what you think!
